One of the best-selling property launches of the year, GuocoLand’s Midtown Modern has generated plenty of excitement for its rare combination of full condominium facilities and excellent central location.

Located directly above Bugis MRT Interchange station, Midtown Modern is part of GuocoLand’s mega integrated development, Guoco Midtown, sharing one hectare of its gardens with the latter’s sprawling 3.8 hectares of landscaped grounds.

Beyond the designer furnishings and branded appliances expected of luxury launches, Midtown Modern offers a lifestyle that aligns with residents’ needs. Whether it’s easy connectivity to the rest of Singapore, a Saturday morning game of tennis or an evening stroll through the hip cultural enclave of Arab Street, it’s all within reach at Midtown Modern.

THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

With Wallich Residence and Guoco Tower under its belt, GuocoLand is no stranger to creating large integrated developments that marry form and function. It is also known for offering up a full suite of facilities more commonly found in developments outside the city centre.

On the first floor of Midtown Modern, residents are welcomed home in style by the hotel-like arrival lounge that also doubles as a space for work or holding business meetings. The lounge also has a concierge service to assist with life’s little necessities such as deliveries and bookings. Otherwise, one can simply walk out to the many retail stores and restaurants located just next to the lobby.

On the third level, amidst the verdant setting of Gardens in the Woods, residents can start their day with a game of tennis or a swim at the  50m lap pool before unwinding at the hot spring area, which features a heated onsen pool to soothe aching muscles. If less vigorous exercise is preferred, the grand lawn is the perfect venue for morning yoga, followed perhaps by a meditative tea ceremony at the Tea House pavilion while looking out to the tranquil Lily Pond.

Further down, residents will find the children’s adventure play area and the Play Pavilion, which has a large-screen television perfect for football nights. Birthday parties are made memorable at the deluxe-sized clubhouse, which can hold over 50 people and has all the kitchen appliances you’ll need for whipping up a feast. For more exclusive meals, residents have access to four pavilions — equipped with kitchen facilities for entertaining guests — on the 30th floor with breath-taking views of the city.

Landscaping has been taken to new heights at Midtown Modern. Carefully curated greenery flows through the main communal areas, creating a calm, natural sanctuary away from the noise and bustle of the city. The 30th-level roof garden and third-level Gardens in the Woods feature over 350 species of plants and trees, including some rare and indigenous specimens.

The green is not just for show, either: As part of Guoco Midtown’s commitment to sustainability, Midtown Modern has green features that optimise energy, water and waste, and is expected to achieve the Green Mark Gold Plus certification.

Midtown Modern also boasts great connectivity links. Residents have access to an underground pedestrian network that links them to the shops, eateries and offices at Guoco Midtown. One level below is the Bugis MRT Interchange, which provides seamless connection to schools, workplaces and attractions via the East-West Line and the Downtown Line.
