Among a slate of new hotel openings in Bangkok, ultra-luxury resort brand Aman has announced that it will be opening its first property in the bustling city, which will comprise both a luxury hotel as well as a branded residence.

This marks Aman’s second foray into Thailand. The brand’s flagship property is the tranquil resort of Amanpuri, located in Phuket, which opened in 1988.

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is nestled in the century-old tropical gardens of Nai Lert Park. This Park, owned by the Nai Lert family since 1915, is one of the largest green spaces in downtown Bangkok. It is a stone's throw away from Central Chidlom mall.

The property, scheduled to open in 2023, will take its design inspiration from the vast greens of Nai Lert Park. World-renowned architect and frequent Aman collaborator, Jean-Michel Gathy, will create a “contemporary urban sanctuary of architectural distinction”.

Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will consist of 52 hotel suites and no more than 50 residence units split across 18 floors. The entire property will be housed within a 36-storey edifice, with the residences located on floors 11 to 28, providing a lofty sanctuary amid the lush oasis of the park.

The one-, two- and three-bedroom units and penthouses will have a private entrance, with most featuring private terraces. Future residents and their guests will also have access to exclusive facilities, including private dining room services; a Garden Lounge with a library and business centre opening directly into Nai Lert Park; and a private infinity pool on the 30th floor.

True to Aman’s wellness philosophy, residents and guests can also enjoy a private Aman Fitness Centre, yoga and pilates centre, as well as preferential access to the hotel’s comprehensive Holistic Wellness Centre and all its facilities.

Additional perks at the pet-friendly property include Nai Lert Butlers, in-residence spa and salon, sommelier, chef and dining services. Residential amenities will also include a private Aman Kids’ Club, children’s swimming pool, as well as a private garden within Nai Lert Park. Considering the current climate, access to a private garden space has never been so important.
