Travelling to a work meeting, corporate lunch or business convention? If you like to travel "business class", Singapore ride-hailing app Ryde will be officially launching RydeLUXE – its premium ride-hailing service – on Apr 29. The service is currently undergoing beta trails.

With RydeLUXE, users will be matched with professional drivers with luxurious private car hires within the Ryde app. These include six-seater vehicles such as Toyota’s Alphard and Vellfire models. The service targets business executives, tourists and premium customers, Ryde said in a press release.

The company expects demand to come from the Downtown area. Indicative fares during off-peak hours are S$25 from Tanglin to Bugis, and S$50 from Bugis to Changi Business Park.

Both on-demand and advance bookings will be accepted. Only “professional drivers with the highest ratings” will be allowed to accept RydeLUXE jobs, the company said.

“The launch of RydeLUXE reflects our belief and commitment to introduce innovative features for the ride-hailing market. It also marks a significant milestone for us, as we enter the ultra-luxury market and cater to a different clientele.” said Terence Zou, Founder and CEO of Ryde Technologies.

Interested users can sign up and book premium rides by downloading the Ryde app from the App Store and Google Playstore.
