Weekend escape: Enjoy a 'daycation' at Shangri-La's Sentosa Resort & Spa
Need a resort break without the fuss of staying overnight? This hotel on Sentosa Island has launched a ‘daycation’ package for guests to enjoy its amenities for a day.
As we wait patiently for hotels to receive approval to open their doors for staycations, here’s a fun family activity: Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa has launched a ‘daycation’ package, giving guests all-day access to the resort’s amenities without having to stay the night.
The package grants guests usage of the resort’s swimming pool, which includes a children’s pool, waters slides and a splash play area. Guests can also bask in the sun while lying on the sun beds that line the pool area.
The day pass also gives guests access to Shangri-La’s beachfront area, where you can partake in a range of sea sports activities, including kayaking, stand up paddle board, and pedal boat.
Along with beach and pool access, the day pass includes a dining credit that can be used at Siloso Beach Bar, where diners can expect a classic array of beachside food and drinks selection. Highlights include Mini Cheese Beef Burgers and sandwiches, Chicken Wings, Cheesy Potato Wedges, fresh summer salads, local delights, fresh juices, mocktails and classic cocktails.
It also includes towel service, usage of changing rooms, complimentary WiFi connection and one complimentary parking coupon for those driving into Sentosa. With overseas tropical getaways on hold for now, a ‘daycation’ is the next best thing.
