Oxwell & Co to hold festive Christmas pop-up, with meals going to charity
In collaboration with Straits Clan, the gastropub will hold a six-week Christmas party replete with festive dishes, and is partnering The Food Bank Singapore to provide one-for-one meals to those in need.

It seems as though time has flown by this year and before we know it, the Christmas season is already upon us. Not that we’re complaining, as this marks the return of our favourite festive goodies.
During the Christmas season, popular Ann Siang Road gastropub Oxwell & Co, which shuttered in July this year as a result of the pandemic, is making a return into Singapore’s F&B scene with a festive pop-up in collaboration with Straits Clan.
Together, the establishments are hosting Oxwell & Clan, a six-week Christmas party open to the public on the ground floor of Straits Clan’s Clan Cafe. The pop-up will run from Nov 11 to Dec 26, and will feature scrumptious Christmas food alongside celebratory tipples.
Oxwell & Clan’s festive menu offers a bounty of Christmas-inspired dishes, such as the Turkey Roulade with celery, chestnuts, sage, mushrooms and gravy, and the Crackled Belly of Pork with savoy cabbage, clove and apple sauce and roasting juices.

Yorkshire pudding, brandy baked carrots, Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple, baked cauliflower cheese, roasted potatoes, and roasted parsnip, turnip, and swede are all served family-style to accompany the main event.

Of course, no Christmas celebration is complete without a tipple or two.
With this in mind, Oxwell & Clan will offer seasonally inspired cocktails such as the Winta Colada – a decadent concoction of vodka, pineapple, nutmeg and clove with coconut meringue – along with a selection of festive punch bowls like the easy-drinking Spiced Pear Spritz with vodka, baked apple and pear, vanilla, Sichuan and Prosecco or the more traditional Unusual Eggnog with gin, milk and honey, egg and allspice.
“As a new Straits Clan member, I am thrilled to be relaunching our famous roasts in time for Christmas in this iconic space. We have always been very good at bringing some Christmas spirit to Singapore and we’re excited to up the Yuletide cheer with our new concept Oxwell & Clan,” Ben Jones, Founder of Oxwell & Co, said in a press statement.
In the spirit of Christmas, Oxwell & Clan will be partnering with The Food Bank Singapore to provide "One for One Meals” (with a total of at least 5,000 meals) to the charity's beneficiaries.
For every person that orders a dine-in meal at the pop-up, including both a la carte dishes or set meals, Oxwell & Clan will donate a meal to The Food Bank.
“Giving back to society is at the core of everything we do. It was important for us, particularly after such a challenging year, to ensure that our Christmas Oxwell & Clan pop-up gives back to the local community," said Jones.
For celebrations at home, Oxwell & Clan can also deliver festive boxes to diners’ doors through Boxwell & Co, its roast delivery service.
