Ultra-luxury hotel group Aman has launched its own furniture line
You can now have a piece of Aman in your home.
The best vacations are those that make you not want to go home. And if you’ve stayed at an Aman property, this is almost always the case. From its curated experiences to the stylish yet timeless design of its properties, Aman has drawn a legion of loyal fans who call themselves Aman junkies.
Now, the brand’s enthusiasts can bring a piece of Aman into their homes with the launch of its first furniture line – Aman Interiors. This new division has been created following demand from long-standing clients to access Aman’s “impeccable design credentials and much-loved aesthetic, but most importantly bringing its trusted DNA of peace understated elegance and quiet luxury into the home”, the brand said in a press release.
Aman Interiors comprises the Foundations Collection of select furniture, designed by international artisans and specialist suppliers. These designs are bespoke to Aman, available to clients upon enquiry. They will be available for purchase from early 2024.
“Design and architecture, including furniture design, have long been true passions of mine, and it was Aman’s elevated design aesthetic which first drew me to the brand as a guest,” said Vlad Doronin, owner and CEO of Aman Group and chairman of Aman Interiors.
Aman Interiors will “provide direct access to an interior design team which is fully immersed into the world of Aman, both to facilitate the seamless furnishing of Aman Residences and Aman Hotels, as well as to bring bespoke furniture designs to the market which have been created through the lens of the Aman experience,” Doronin continued.
Aman Interiors will also partner with architecture and design greats on limited-edition furniture pieces. The first collection, launched at Design Miami which took place from Dec 5 to 10, was designed by famed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
The collection features the Migumi Chair and Migumi Table, which use a natural material palette featuring white oak and Calacatta marble. They were inspired by the fusion of sunlight and wood Kuma witnessed in Miami when designing Aman Miami Beach Residences, which are currently under construction. Kuma also designed Aman’s Amanpuri retail pavilion in Thailand. Prices for the Migumi pieces are available upon request.
In addition, the company will also offer an interior design and sourcing service for owners of Aman Branded Residences, curating antiques and furniture, all seamlessly integrated with the bespoke, site-specific Aman Interiors designs.
Aman’s foray into furniture is the latest push in its lifestyle offerings. Previously, the company ventured into skincare, holistic supplements, leather goods and accessories.
