In a clear trend of luxury automotive marques getting into the elite real estate game, Aston Martin launched its first ultra-luxury branded residences in downtown Miami, with its opening coinciding with the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix last weekend.

The new Aston Martin Residences Miami is situated on the highly coveted Miami waterfront in Biscayne Bay; its 66-storey curvilinear structure redefining the Miami skyline and evoking the sleek, aerodynamic forms reminiscent of Aston Martin sports cars.

Designed in partnership with world-renowned Miami-based property developer G&G Business Developments, up to 99 per cent of the 391 units have already been sold, ranging from one- to five-bedroom apartments and duplexes plus seven penthouses, each with their own private pool and spacious terrace. The largest unit in the development is a sprawling 27,191-sq-ft triplex penthouse spread over the top three floors of the sail-shaped building.

As for the amenities residents can expect, there’s Miami vibes to be had at the infinity pool on the 55th floor looking out onto panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and shimmering cityscape accompanied by a pool deck, Jacuzzi and cabanas, as well as a sky bar and lounge.

Altogether, the 42,275-sq-ft, four-floor “Sky Amenities” complex houses a two-storey fitness centre also with ocean views, two movie theatres, a virtual golf simulator, an art gallery, and a full-service spa, beauty salon, barber shop and more.

On ground, residents also have direct access to the sea via an exclusive superyacht marina, while a private butler service is on-call 24/7 for residents.

According to Aston Martin, one in eight homeowners already brandish the keys to an Aston Martin car, too.

“Our design language is based on beauty and the honesty and authenticity of materials. Aston Martin Residences Miami is for people who appreciate the finest quality and craftsmanship, who love the feeling of something that is timeless. In this, our first residential building development, the interiors are quintessentially Aston Martin,” said Marek Reichman, executive vice president and chief creative officer of Aston Martin.

These design hallmarks of an Aston Martin car are dutifully expressed throughout the property, and residents have the added option of choosing between three custom-made interior styles exclusively created by Aston Martin designers.

The Timeless collection epitomises classic Aston Martin design, articulating the heritage of the British marque through a more contemporary lens, while the Covert collection draws inspiration from the interiors of darker car concepts, and the Indulgent collection layers on the luxury with natural materials in a softer, calming palette imbued with a sense of theatre.

“While Aston Martin is renowned for fusing time-honoured craftsmanship and beautiful styling, we always strive to go beyond the expected, rational, and thoughtful. Our philosophical approach to design is to always push a boundary. Always challenge, and never accept something as just enough," Reichman added.
