Fastest fingers first – here’s how you can own a pair of Dior Air Jordans
The highly anticipated Dior Air Jordan sneakers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s how to get your hands on a pair.
Looking forward to the launch of the Air Jordan 1 OG Dior sneakers? The highly anticipated sneaker collaboration between Nike and Dior has dropped, but only those with the fastest fingers will be able to own a pair.
The drop has been launched through an “exclusive online experience”, where buyers will have to register their interest on a dedicated microsite.
Through the microsite, sneaker addicts can register for the guaranteed opportunity to buy one pair of sneakers. You’ll be asked to indicate your preferred model – either high-top or low-top – your preferred method of pickup (from boutiques or Air Dior pop-up stores), and your size.
Each participant may select just one boutique and register only once for the desired style and size. Pop-ups are likely to take place in Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo and China.
The Air Jordan is one of Nike's most popular shoes. Designed by Dior menswear creative director Kim Jones, the Air Jordan 1 OG Dior sneakers features the French luxury house's Oblique motif on Nike's iconic Swoosh. The sneakers are crafted from smooth calfskin and finished in classic Dior grey.
The sneakers have already been seen on celebrities such as Jay Chou.
A limited number of sneakers will be allocated to each of the participating boutiques. Dior will invite the qualified participants to visit the selected boutique to purchase their sneakers.
The store pick-up date will be sent via SMS or email shortly following verification of eligibility. A unique QR code with your name will be issued and identification will be required at the time of purchase.
The accompanying Air Dior capsule will be available at selected Dior boutiques from July. The collection features a range of sportswear including wool suits, blazers, bomber jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, shorts, polos, pants and leather goods.
